I worked with a lovely gal named Gena this morning. Naturally beautiful, and easy to work with. I look forward to future projects with her!In this shot gave her some British military cargo pants to wear. They have a lot of sentimental value to me, because they were given to me in Afghanistan by a gentleman from the British Royal Air Force, and they're my very favorite pair of pants.
I have to say they look a lot better on Gena than on me!

Yeah, loads of fun playing with the different settings on the camera - I got quite a variety among the photos, so I'm getting a pretty good idea of what works and what doesn't.
And I agree, she definitely wears them well!

have to say you're getting portrait work down pretty good. and that's not always easy outdoors in natural light.

Yup, she definitely passes the pants test!
And I think my portraits are getting better - which is important as a photojournalist - recently I took photos for an award ceremony for this guy who just made sergeant... and they didn't turn out too good - everyone was wearing hats so their faces were overshadowed pretty bad... now I would know better.
