Description My eighteenth dragon for the "Smaugust 2023 art challenge" is a Roman Dragon. In the region of Calabria on the Italian peninsula there is an ancient tile mosiac depicting a sea monster or dragon that dates back to the 4th century BCE. Its thought to either be ancient Greek or Roman and I thought I would go ahead draw up this dragon
