Finally a damn update for Princess Applejack !Yeah, for this one I took my sweet time, but I think it was worth it.
Got to work on shades, backgrounds, poses... I consider it to be a win.
Do you like it? Hope so!
One of the things I had to battle doing this is my problem with perfection. I usually want the lines to be perfect. I lost four hours on one of the chibis to make sure the lines were smooth.
But personally I love the art where the lines are not very marked, or messy, so I decided that "hell, I gotta try it".
And so I did. I will use this style in my next updates and general images, to reinforce my technique.
I accept any kind of tip on the matter, I'm here on DA to learn, not to smash my drawings on your faces and call them art.

*closes eyes and slowly scratches her belly, yawns*

*in a series of moments I grab ahold of Dashie, pull out mah sword to barely deflect the Timberwolf's attack allowing us to get up before Ah start booking it away from there*
...how long were we out that a Timberwolf of all things could sneak up on us?
And for that matter, it still bothers me that those things can exist. They're made of wood! They just reassemble if ya beat them too!
Seriously, how is that fair?
*looks at Dashie still tucked under mah arm as Ah'm runnin'*
Ah know ya can run on yer own mah fair Damsel, but Ah must do mah duty as a gentleman to protect you.
*glances over shoulder, seeing we're still being chased*
And given the circumstances, Ah think running is better than trying ta fight.
...if we can just get more towards town, we should be safe!

*looks at moon then around them*
If we go in that direction. *points to our right*
We should find ourselves approaching Ponyville in ten seconds flat.
...also, have you been working out Dashie? You're not having nearly as much trouble liftin' me like last time.
*smirks* Either that or Ah've lost some weight. Hahaha.

*looks at the moon* Judging by the position of the moon we should be heading in the right direction.
This doesn't make any sense.
About the only thing I can think to suggest is to go the opposite direction and see if perhaps we've been reversed somehow.
So let's try that....and if that doesn't work, then we think a little more on things.

Judging from where we saw that light, it's probably not too far ahead of us.
Hopefully whatever is producing it can help...and not, ya know, send us on another crazy chase sequence or something.

So Ah've asked T-Sparks before but she never really could give me a straight answer about it. Why is the Everfree the way it is?
Ah mean, of all the places around, why is this specific plot of land the only one that nopony can control or take care of and thus it governs itself.
It just strikes me as weird that this patch of land is basically how forests are back on mah world but that it's only this one.
*raises an eyebrow and smirks*
Scared? Dashie, Ah've faced plenty of terrible things with you and the others. If Disky, Chrissy, and Sombrero didn't scare me when we fought them head on, Ah don't think a dark forest and some spooky campfire stories are gonna spook me.
...of course, the fact that Ah ramble when Ah'm scared means nothing at this point.
