Finally a damn update for Princess Applejack !Yeah, for this one I took my sweet time, but I think it was worth it.
Got to work on shades, backgrounds, poses... I consider it to be a win.
Do you like it? Hope so!
One of the things I had to battle doing this is my problem with perfection. I usually want the lines to be perfect. I lost four hours on one of the chibis to make sure the lines were smooth.
But personally I love the art where the lines are not very marked, or messy, so I decided that "hell, I gotta try it".
And so I did. I will use this style in my next updates and general images, to reinforce my technique.
I accept any kind of tip on the matter, I'm here on DA to learn, not to smash my drawings on your faces and call them art.

Anyway, we've found Scootaloo who seems connected to this all somehow. She led us to Rarity and then to you so...we're not sure what's going on, but it's a mystery for sure.

Is that really the most important thing here right now, Apps? Especially after whatever that huge thing was barely moved passed us?
And even if Ah did, you should feel honored that Ah felt yers was worthy of such deductive reasoning measures. Had to make sure it wasn't just any old apples, right?
*waits a pair of moments before all is quiet again and sighs in relief*
So, is everypony still okay and accounted for?
Whatever is out here with us is...big. Ah suppose all we can do is rely on Scoot's directions to guide us.
Ah just hope more of our friends didn't get pulled out here...
