You and Link stared at each other. Link was speechless. He couldn't believe you were standing in front of him.

"_________...is it..really you?"Link asks, taking a step towards you. You nod.

"Yeah.Link, I came to help you."you say.

"But how are you here? Alive? And the portal."Link stammers, finding an utter loss of words. You stare at the ground.

"Zelda..she took my place.."you say. Link's eyes widen.

"What? But how?"he asks. Before you could answer the walls around you begin to rumble violently and the whole temple shakes, causing everyone inside to fall to their knees.

"What was that?"you ask, looking around. Thorn stands up and helps you up.

"It's probably Nicolei. His rain of destruction is beginning."he says. Link helps Midna up and looks over at you.

"_______ are you okay?"he asks. You nod.

"Yeah."you call back. "But I think we better get out of here!"Link nods and picks Midna up in his arms as he runs over to where you and Thorn were.

"Lets go!" You, Link and Thorn rush out the throne room quickly but as soon as you reach the next room another loud rumble is heard, throwing all of you off balance. Thorn looked around then back to you and Link.

"We have to hurry. The temple is collapsing!"he exclaims. You and Link look at each other before standing back up and rushing out of the room with him. The ceiling started to cave in around you causing debri to fall everywhere. The debri also created puffs of dust that made it difficult for you to see through.

Suddenly a large piece of ceiling falls in front of you, creating a large thick cloud of dust that blocked your vision and separated you from Link and Thorn. Link looked back quickly and gasped when he no longer saw your figure following him.

"________!"he calls. You cough and wave your hand in front of your face, trying to clear away the dust.

"I'm here.."you cough out. Thorn looks back as well.

"M'lady!"You try your best to make your way over to them when a sudden piece of ceiling dropped again behind you, causing you to fall to your knees and cough violently as dust filled your lungs. Link quickly turned to Thorn and handed Midna over to him.

"Here. Take her and get out of here!"he ordered before turning back to the dust cloud and rushing through it.

"Hey wait!"Thorn called after but Link had already disappeared. He pursed his lips and looked down at Midna before turning away and rushing out of the temple.

"_________!"Link called, coughing slightly as he did."______ where are you?!"

"Link! Help!"You call back. Link quickly turned to where your voice was coming from only to find you pinned beneath a large piece of the caved in ceiling.

"______!" Link yelled frantically as he rushed to your aid.

"Link. I'm stuck!"you cry, reaching towards him.

"It's okay!I'll get you out of here!"link says, grabbing your hand. He pulls hard but it was in vain. When that didn't work, Link tried pushing on the debri that pinned you,only to find that his super strength was no longer there.

"Damn!It won't move!"he growled,pushing on them with all his might.Another piece of debri fell behind him,causing you to jump a bit.

"Link!"you cried.

"Don't worry! I'm gonna get you out of here _______!"Link says. "Come on. Please! Move! Move!"Another piece of debri fell.

"Link..you have to go!"you say.Link's eyes widen a bit and he stared down at you.

"What?! No! I'm not leaving you!"he objects.

"Link! It's not budging! You have to go without me or else we'll both be crushed!"you say.

"So be it! I'm not leaving without you _______!"Link says.

"Link, you have to go! We can't both die here! You have to save the Twilight Realm!"you tell him.. Link shook his head, still pushing on the large piece of debri that pinned you.

"No! I'm not losing you again _______!"he cried.

"Link, please!Go!"you say again.

"No! I can't leave you here ______.." You could hear his voice begin to crack under the pressure. You reach your hand up and Link grabs it tightly, staring into your (e/c) eyes with his distraught blue ones that threatened to spill tears any minute.

"I can't..I can't leave you ______."

"Link..you have to make it out of here.You're the hero.Please! You have to get out of here. You have to save Zelda! Please. Do it for me!"you plead. Link fell to his knees in front of you.

"No!This isn't fair!"he yells, slamming his fist against the ground. "I feel like I just got you back!" You reach out and place a hand on Link's cheek, making him look at you.

"Link, no matter what may happen. I'll always be with you and I'll always be grateful to you for making all my dreams come true and I'm happy to have met you."you say.

Tears slid down Link's cheeks and he grabbed your hand tightly.

"I'm glad I met you to _____."he choked out. You smiled softly and and ran your hand through Link's dirty blonde bangs once he let go of it.

"Now go Link."you say. Link stood up and grabbed your hand once more.

"But ______-"

"Go!" With tears flowing down his cheeks,Link turned and ran out of the room as debri started to fall faster now, all around you. You watched as his figure disappeared through the thick dust. Tears slid down your cheeks as well as more debri fell around you. You brought your hand back to your mouth and covered it as you sobbed.

"I love you Link. Don't leave me."you mumble out before everything went pitch black around you and pain coursed through your body.

Link made it out of the temple just as it collapsed behind him, causing the force to knock him to the ground. He stood up and looked over his shoulder as the temple caved in itself.

"_______!"he screamed, turning around to face the collapsing building. Thorn held Midna tightly in his arms as he watched Link from behind fall to his knees and slam his fists against the ground.

"No..this wasn't suppose to happen.."Thorn murmured. Suddenly a gust of wind blew strongly and atop of a larger temple stood Nicolei, smirking down at them. His appearance was completely different. He wore Twili armor now and you could see the dark energy radiating off of him.

Link's body shook as he stared up at him, into Nicolei's deep golden eyes. He felt paralyzed, nothing could make him move.

"Link! Get up!"Thorn called but Link's body refused to do so."Link!"

"Run. Run like the coward you are!"Nicolei mocked. His words seemed to hit Link like a slap in the face and he managed to find his body again. Quickly he stood up and backed away.

What could Link do now? He had no weapons, no strength, nothing. He couldn't fight now.

"If you wish to live then I suggest you flee! Nothing can stop me now! So run! You and my little brother! Run like the cowards you are and then, once you have the balls to fight, return here and face me!"Nicolei barked.

Link backed away more until he felt a hand on his shoulder, it was Thorn's.

"Link..we must leave now.."he said. Link couldn't even speak. He just stood there frozen as black magic swirled around the two of them before they disappeared.

Nicolei watched as Thorn teleported himself, Link and Midna out of the Twilight Realm. To where,he didn't know. But he did know that he had successfully conquered the Twilight realm now. He smirked and looked back at the pile of debri of from the fallen building.

As well as gaining the Twilight Realm, he had also gained something else. Something that would make Link shake even more in his boots and never cross him again. The perfect weapon.
