I feel like this way too often...Kind of wish I could show everything we've been working on behind the scenes at D-Pad Studio. Of course doing so would ruin the experience we've worked so hard to create, so it's sadly not an option just yet. I'll just have to ask people to be patient for now.
When you're running a company on your own, you can't really sit down and vent about the hardships that you have to face during development, so you just kind of have to stick to it. Eventually, it'll lead to something good for everyone.
We're getting there, I promise.

So THIS is how video games are made.
Just started my own little company here in Hedmark. Been making games since 4th grade up to now and I hope to do well at it.
And even though this is the first time I do this professionally (Well, in the sense that it's a job. I have earned money previously) crunch can get to you.
But I gab. This is a hilarious piece. And I like the "coffee stain" texture you've applied to it all. It resonates. The intensity AND the caffeine.

Amazing work on owlboy by the way. I have been oblivious to upcoming Norwegian indies as I left to study art in britain for 3 years, it went from being funcom to a infillion indie devs ruling norwegian gaming. How did I miss this? I WANT TO PARTICIPATE!
SO i'm going to make games, k, even though I don't know programming but that's ok. I'll just make some images instead and pretend it is a game by wiggling them in an animation.

The sad truth is that we're small by choice. On one hand, we want to make sure everyone on the team is on the same page and want to work towards a common vision, not just a paycheck. On the other, I'm redicilously picky when it comes to art and always end up doing everything myself. So... I'm in this position because I put myself there. Still... faster arms would always be a plus.

Well, to an extent. But oddly enough we mostly end up agreeing on our design choices. (And when we don't... well... there's boss mode for that 8D )
