Ridge stood up quickly, he was in a class container, like he'd seen the others been in so many times before. He couldn't help but smirk slightly as adrenaline rushed through his body, making his fingers tingle and his heart pound.

He looked around, next to him on the right was Nilesy and the left was Xevphera. Hmmm, who had Sips paired him with? Just as he thought of Sips, the newly made reaper appeared before them and flew around in a show off fashion infront of the cages.

"Haha, this is fun already!" he shouted happily before landing on the ground. This got a few confused looks, see, even though Sips was the reaper now, Ridge had flown around and told everyone about the games, so they didn't know that Sips would be the observer instead of him.

He caught Xevphera looking at him and held his head up high, smirking at her slightly from the corner of his eye. She shook her head and folded her arms before turning back to Sips.

"So guys, how's it going?" the dirt trader began. "Well basically i'm going to be taking Ridge's place in these games, while he takes mine." he pointed towards Ridge, who grinned at the others, causing more than a few worried faces.
"And seen as i'm incharge now i've decided to switch the teams up a bit. Now you are aloud to break team mates and join with someone else, the only problem being that you might not be able to tust them now, especiely with thier new teammates. So here it goes, Xephos, you're with Martyn."

'Strange choice...' Ridge thought to himself. 'That teams obviously overpowered. But they do both worry alot which will probably be thier downfall.'

"Honeydew, you're with Nilesy."

'He really is mixing it up a bit. I like it.'

"Lalna, you're with Rythian."

'Oh now I like that. This wasn't such a bad idea afterall.'

"Lomadia, you're with Zoeya."

'Hmm that's interesting...'

"Sjin, you're with Toby"

'Haha, brilliant, this will be easier than I thought... Although Toby and Sjin will probably swap teams.'

"Ridge"

'Oh Notch.' His heart seemed to skip a beat as he thought about who it could be.

"You're with Xevphera."

'Hehe, excellent. Just what I needed, a chance to observe her skills. I think I might stick with her and go agianst me original plan of leaving the person i'm paired with.' Ridge turned and smiled at the elf, who raised an eyebrow.

"Panda, you're with Strippin'"

'Hmm'

"Benjii, you're with Sparkles*"

'Meh, I guess they don't know each other that well.'

"And finally the newest member of the games, who I kind of invited, Dan Bull, you're with Kim!"

'Wow, he invited a couple of other people... Well it's not against the rules or anything. I wonder what the elflings skills are...' he looked back to Xevphera who leaned back against the glass and looked very relaxed for someone who was new to the games. He admired that about her, even if it was just an act. One of the good things for her was that she didn't really get along wih anybody, sure, Xephos might be an issue, but he could take care of him while she killed who ever his partner turned out to be.

"Alright, so rules are, no leaving the arena, even though you shouldn't be able to anyway, you must stick with your teammate for atleast the first half hour of the game."

'Hmm that's a strange rule you've made there Sips'

"There are items in the chests next to you and in the chests in the middle. You can make any kind of treaty you want aslong as it's not just one person against the rest."
Sips flew up into the air and raised his grey hand, smiling widely.

Ridge knew the feeling of being an observer, it gave you a slight thrill to watch as people killed each other to survive. No matter how much the others protested, they wouldn't give up the opportunity if they had it, especialy if he was fighting with the others.

"Let the games begin!" Sips shouted and as soon as he dissapeared a count down infront of them started.
