I recently volunteered to paint the poster for a theater group in my uni, this is the finished poster,My first ever attempt at proper illustration.
The poster is for a production of One Mad Night. Showing a few of the characters, you can find both the initial b&w portraits as well as cut colored versions from the poster in my gallery.
Yes, i do know that the shadows aren't consistent, and i have a logical explanation for it.
Many thanks to all of the cast for giving me permission to post their portraits.
It was a lot of fun painting them, and i enjoyed painting their wonderful expressions.

a really nice collage. I like how the single heads are set together.
Even tough the lower faces are too bright, the whole picture is done very well

Well, the brightness was partly because was going for a receding effect, and partly because the lighting was done before the collage and the coloring, also actually planning for a different layout entirely
