I wanted to evoke a sense of freedom, of "breaking" free as she broached the surface -- the look of pleasure upon her face as she feels the cool air of the sunset upon her, only too quickly does it pass and she sinks once more into the depths below, perhaps never to be seen again.

I hope I've succeeded! and also with the sense of motion. I want my characters to show they are alive, not just "models" with clothing on them, but that each of them have a story to tell.

Her face and body isn't suppose to be perfect - she isn't human. I spent a lot of time on the textures for her, especially her skin.

The water is from stock images I have, and the splashes are brushes I purchased eons ago and forgot all about until I was rummaging through my old computer hard drive.. it was finding them that gave me the idea to do this image! Plus, it sort of mirrors exactly how I've been feeling.

Rendered in Daz3D. Items purchased, Victoria base model. Lighting etc all done by me in Daz.
