EDIT: Perhaps I did not make this clear in my last edit, but I am very well aware that Stephenie Meyer has explained this situation! She explained it on her site as "dead blood," and though Edward and the Cullens can sense it, they feel no thirst for it. I have been told this by MANY people and have looked into it myself. I made this comic knowing about her response, I just thought it was a funny subject.FULL VIEW, PLEASE!
Another Twilight fan comic based on Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series. I know this is kind of nasty, but seriously. I KNOW I'm not the forst one to wonder about this situation. Poor Edward...
I focused mainly on expressions and less on setting for this. I didn't know I was capable of making such vivid faces. I really need to loosen up in my more serious drawings. I also want to apologize to my faithful watchers (of which there are too few) who aren't fans of this series. I'll try to mix it up a bit. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this. EDIT: I know Stephenie Meyer explained this situation already, but I wanted to show my own view on things. I'm not exactly trying to be political here. XP

Edward: Yes you are! I can smell it! (gulp)

I have a question, have you ever heard of a Norwegian film called "Let the Right One In" ? It has the same concept as "Twilight" but it is far more intense and gripping. I think you might like it.

I know. When I took a class last semester called "Cult of the Vampire" that was one of the films we watched. Next to Coppola's "Dracula" and "From Dusk 'Till Dawn" it was one of my favorites.
Oh yeah, and it beats the ever loving shit out of "Twilight". Yeah, yeah. I said it....

lol... XD Well, I'm not a fan at all of Twilight, but man... this is funny... XD And just because they don't get a thirst for the blood, that doesn't mean that it can't be extremely annoying to smell it... or "sense" it, whatever. *shrugs*

Well, to tell you the truth, I'm not a fan of Twilight either. In fact, I'm probably as "anti-Twilight" as you can get. I just had a phase with the books. XP But either way, glad you think it's funny!

Well, I'm ok until you bring in either the seriousness of it, (which just made it angsty teen stuff, not actual seriousness imo) or the sparkling, which I just can't get over. XD Seriously, I found a good manga. It's called Model. It reminds me a little of Twilight in the fact that it has vampires, a mortal girl, mortal girl falls in love with vampire, vampire's all like don't love me... but it's not the same way... See, this vampire's a stuck up prick who ends up softening up a little, but is still stuck up. XD Kinda reminds me of... oh... maybe Ansem, or Xemnas... But anyway, there's no sparkling, and actually it's a good read. I guess when stuff's done differently it can be better? IDK...
Of course! That's the only way to do twilight, is by making it funny.

lol... XD I don't WANT to watch the second movie. I've seen the first movie, only so I could say I saw it. I got into a small argument with one girl cuz she likes twilight. Actually, she was the only one in our group who liked it... XD Whenever I think of her, this "Twilight's a cultural peice of literature" or whatever that Zexion from Demyx Time said... Pops into my head... But she said that we must not have seen the movie because we don't like it. XD But I'm hoping she gets into model. XD I told her about the manga too, lol. XD
My friends made up this alternate summary of Twilight. XD I LOVE being friends with guys, and goths, and nerds... XD They make up the best alternate summaries. XD So, The true story behind twilight. XD The main characters of twilight are Vampires who eat bats to get their fiber. This is because Vampire is canadian for beaver. They go to washington to escape from the mounty, (which I think they called like dick van hellsing or something like that... I've only heard this twice, lol). I can't remember if there's any more to that but I love it. XD

The second movie was, I have to say, made a LOT better than the first one, because they had a slightly bigger budget and a MUCH better director. But alas, the casting has been done, and you just can't make chemistry between Robert Pattinson and Kristin Stewart. Actually, she works better with Jacob in the movie, by a long shot. Which is really kind of sad, since that's not the point. -_-

No, okay, IDK where, but someone asked Stephenie Meyer that on a questionaire sort of thing, and she said that he had no affect on him because it's what she calls 'dead blood' but don't take it off because of that. This is funny. Poor Bella, poor Edward. XD!!!
