Description
I drew a little series of comics a while back about my current fixation with noise music. Finally got around to toning them and slapping them up on the internet.Related content

Hey, i actually listen to merzbow! I really like pulse demon and Venereology. I once listened to Ananga-Ranga, NONSTOP. I really sleeped like an angel that night anyways, and i dreamed abouyt Masami playing live in my front yard. I remember it so vividly~

I've actually seen Merzbow play at this point. Flew all the way to frickin' South Carolina just for that show.

I think 1930 is a beautiful album. I don't know how I came to like Merzbow, but now I'm addicted. I think, in a nutshell, it's music for people who love sounds. I always have to listen on headphones though, not sure that my apartment neighbors would have the same appreciation for it as I do. :/

You said it!
I don't have 1930. I guess it's higher up in my list of the ones I don't have. I find the bird albums daunting because there are so many of them.

Man! This is why I have to listen to Merzbow sparingly! My friends aren't as tolerant of being on fire as Jackmo. (Or my stereo)
But I like Merzbow.

I'm not going to lie to you..... that perturbed my mind. I LOVE IT!!!!! D=
Like wow, it's seriously like an assault on the mind. I remember when my friends used to think I was nuts for enjoying Fantomas, but man I think they may cry when I play some Merzbow for them!! .... and I mean that literally too.

you know this reminds me, as soon as they're out of beta and people outside the US can get on, we gotta hang out on turntable.fm

I've been recently introduced. I made a friend on tt.fm who's obsessed with Mike Patton. I have delirium cordia in my queue but haven't had a chance to listen to the whole thing because of how tt.fm works.

Cool!
Delirium Cordia is very cool, but I kind of prefer Fantomas (self titled) and Director's Cut (an entire album dedicated to recreating classic movie themes... Fantomas style!). Give them a listen if you get the chance.
Back to something a little more drone and a little less noise, I came across some Coil while looking at Merzbow on youtube, I quite liked it. You heard of them/like them?

Oh my god I love Coil, they are indeed a mixed bag. But a they are a mixed bag of mostly awesome. If you like the experimental/noise stuff, Coil is for you.

After listening to more of it, it's a bit of a mixed bag. But there's some nice stuff in there.

maruosa! I wish I could find some of his stuff in a record store. I've seen a few of his tracks pop up on youtube and they're just craaazy. I wonder what I have to do...

I can't help you with physical copies, but I think that Maruosa has his own digital label called "Grindcore Karaoke". Here's a link to where you can buy the digital version of his latest album: [link] The perk with that digital version is that the download comes with 5 music videos! And they're all really smokin'!

I can't tell if I hate or like noise music. So I just end up sitting there, listening to it in a stupor.
