This is for anyone who supports homosexuality. It's just to raise the spirits of those who are unfairly judged or treated. I made this sor anyone who wants to use it.If you want to put it up in your journal (you have to have a subscription to do this) just put :thumb39587847:
For those of you who have an issue with this or homosexuality, please keep your comments to yourself. This represents compassion, not ignorance.

Myself, I'm straight, but I have friends who are not. My two best friends, both girls, are dating - and it doesn't make me love them any less.
I have no memory of my parents telling me if being bi or gay is right or wrong, but I've never seen any problem about it. (:

i used to hate gays and bis cuz my dad taught me that gays were "wrong" when i was small....but recently i've realized i cant hate gays and bis for no reason, if one gender likes the same gender, so be it, no matter how weird it seems doesnt mean that it's WRONG ^^ i'm a bi myself anyways

I love this stamp. If I had a subscription, this would be on the very top of my journal, each and every time, as I am bisexual, and I'm very proud to say so, even if my parents don't really know, but, who cares about that?

*sigh* I don't know. She tried pinning the blame on someone when I first told her. First she blamed herself, then my friends. I kept telling her it wasn't anyone's fault and that it was just how I felt.

It's out of your control. In conception all fetuses are female, if they continue development they become male. The hormones in your body overdeveloped during puberty and you became attracted to other women, for men if it's underdeveloped they become attracted to other men. There's nothing wrong with that because it's out of your control, it's not a choice, it's biology. If your mother ever brings that up just tell her that, it should shut her up.

Well, mutation is perfectly natural. That's how the process of evolution works. Over 1,500 species exhibit non-heterosexual behavior, but it's not like they get a choice in the matter. It's just brain chemistry.

Then bring it up yourself, show her that it doesn't change you from the little girl she raised and prove to her that it doesn't make you any better or worse then her. If you can't convince her with that then my only guess is that she's an evangelical christian.

I thought so. Then my advice? Bring a date home on Thanksgiving or something and piss her off to no end, until she learns a lesson on being Christ-like and accepting others for who they are.

My original plan for telling her was to wait until I moved out and went to college, then call her from my dorm or apartment or whatever and say, "Hi, mom, I'm doing great. I'm spending time with my girlfriend, but don't worry. I won't get pregnant."
Obviously, I didn't do that. But I would have liked to.

She flips out into storms, but they're not violent. Sometimes I think it'd be better if she was cuz I can deal with physical pain, not the emotional kind.

I don't think so, you can always have chances be happy and forget the past. But physical scars are permanent and don't let you forget. But hey, it's better to feel pain then to feel nothing at all. Trust me, I've felt empty, REALLY emotionally empty until I had found my ex. Don't forget that, ok?

I'm nothing more then a set of ears. I love listening to other's problems and helping them deal with them. It gives me a sense of purpose and a glimps of the beauty of life that religion restritcs from me.
