Someone asked me the other day why the new generation of kids are so dumb, disrespectful, and unmotivated. I say the same things I always say. It's the culture they were raised in and who they were raised by. I'm not saying every teenager these days is an idiot, but a vast majority fits into this category, and it's just plain sad.The media condones this idiocy. Drinking, drugs, sex, and dropping out of school are common themes. Be a rebel; drink and drive, drop out of high school at sixteen, get your girlfriend pregnant.
In my opinions, rebels are just plain stupid. Go ahead, be different, but don't ruin your life and others' while you do it.
Stupid jokes are funny. Stupid people are sad.
I vote for intelligence!

Have you ever heard the saying"people hide their intelligence,behind their stupidity"or"people let out their stupidity to make room for their intelligence".
There are some stupid people at my school and even though they act stupid it doesn't mean that they are stupid,hell they even have a higher grade point average than me!
They ask question,they always answer,and they know something that even I don't know(math for instance)before they go right back to being their stupid selves again.

I'm English and currently in high school. I don't think it's that bad here, there are quite a lot of stupid kids and most of them drink, take drugs and have sex. But there are quite a lot of smart people too, who are happy with being unpopular if they don't want to mess their life up. I am one of them
And in Britain you have to stay in school until your 18, when you finish college. The only excuse is pregnancy, and that's only for stupid girls

This is the generation where it's apparently uncool to live your life however you like. I have been told outright that I'm a coward for never smoking weed. Seriously? I mean, I don't want to. Why do I have to? Why must I be forced to obtain and try illegal substances to be accepted? This person even went as far as saying that I'm "denying myself pleasure". What, so pleasure can only be derived from being high now? Is there no other way to be a good person? Why is this generation so obsessed with rebelling and acting as though rules were made for breaking and that if we don't break them, we are automatically supporting authority and this "Illuminati" rubbish?
