Someone asked me the other day why the new generation of kids are so dumb, disrespectful, and unmotivated. I say the same things I always say. It's the culture they were raised in and who they were raised by. I'm not saying every teenager these days is an idiot, but a vast majority fits into this category, and it's just plain sad.The media condones this idiocy. Drinking, drugs, sex, and dropping out of school are common themes. Be a rebel; drink and drive, drop out of high school at sixteen, get your girlfriend pregnant.
In my opinions, rebels are just plain stupid. Go ahead, be different, but don't ruin your life and others' while you do it.
Stupid jokes are funny. Stupid people are sad.
I vote for intelligence!

There are actually a lot of teenagers in this generation who are really, really smart.
I know quite a few of them personally. Β Heck, I might even BE one.
Just saying, don't underestimate people, and don't assume every teenager is a dumb rebel who hates their parents and does drugs, because that's not true. Β There are smart people and dumb people in every generation. Β It just so happens that in this one the dumbness and smartness are more defined.

IS A SAD DAY INDEED. And I did not make any of those up. I eventually left the room when a girl (dressed like an ugly prostitute I might add) said people of mixed race are gross and all Hispanic people are sluts. As a proud half Hispanic girl I took some slight offense to that.
I kid you not, one girl was SO DUMB that she believed me when I jokingly said they defeated Germany by airlifting the entire country and moving it somewhere else.
She also thought that Israel was a part of the United States and that Australia and Africa were the same thing.

As an Australian, I actually feel a bit offended. ._. Africa sounds nothing like Australia, nor is it even close in distance. To me, that's worse than getting Austria mixed up with Australia.
Even my Grade 2 class could distinguish Africa from Australia. And we weren't even taught Geography. No offence though.

No, they are getting dumber.
The average IQ throughout the country drops every single year.
Why is that, you might ask?
Stupid people have tons of babies, and then the babies become stupid.
Smart people focus on their careers and only have one or two babies, and they become smart.
