History:

Equinox and her family spend the beginning of the war as neutrals. If anyone in immediate need stumbled across their little hometown, the neutral town folk would help. However, the town had no formal alliances. Equinox’s family had a range of medics and entertainers. She herself was a therapist and a ‘bot sympathizer.

When a nearby battle unintentionally rolled into the town, there was no formal support for the villagers from either side. During the battle, Equinox and her sister’s child were separated from the rest. Thankfully, they were rescued by some ‘bots who saw how lost and confused the neutrals looked in all the chaos.

Unfortunately, the town was leveled. It’s unclear how many escaped with their lives. Equinox couldn’t find any sign of her family but holds onto hope that they found a way out of town without her. She joined the ‘bots as a medic shortly thereafter.

Working as a medic quickly became too much for Equinox. Seeing her peers maimed was devastating. She recently transferred to communications to get away from the medbay.

Since she was going to be transferred to Earth, Equinox decided to do some research on her own. During her “studies,” she fell madly in love with all things Bollywood . It was bright , happy , beautiful , and everything Equinox needed after her less than ideal time working in the medbay. She changed her whole look to match her new-found passion/outlook. She even adopted a new name to suit her change – Sundar.

-- Her file says her designation is “Equinox” but she introduces herself as “Sundar.”

-- The lack of info on Equinox's family is purposeful. If you have ideas/think you can fill in some blanks with one of your characters, let me know. I'd love to bounce ideas around.

-- I am madly in love with Bombay . There is the world’s greatest replace sex with song and dance scene EVER. Plus, crazy creeper action and a whole song randomly thrown in where the main guy tries to talk his wife into having another kid . It’s like someone went through the script and highlighted all the most awkward events to sing during, then they did it. Beautiful.

-- I am debating whether or not I want to make a love interest for Sundar. Bollywood s love stories so I do want Sundar should have her Bollywood romance. It'd have to be that completely over the top, super melodramatic , we-see-each-other-across-the-room-and-suddenly-everything-is-super-saturated-and-sparkly romance. I'm just concerned that it seems highly unlikely I'm going to stumble across someone ready, able, and willing to be as corny as I want.

-- Sundar couldn’t be more pleased with how widely available cloth is on Earth.

-- She only dresses up every now and again. If she had her way, Sundar would always be “in costume.” However, it just isn’t practical. She can’t transform without getting all that cloth tangled up and jammed in between her plating.

-- Sundar’s love of dressing up is like cosplaying … but not really. The way I see it, Cybertronians’ whole deal is that they find and mimic parts of other cultures. It’s “pretend” in that it is a disguise. However, they literally become whatever catches their fancy. Sundar just happened to take a shine to something that wasn’t a vehicle.

-- The flower is fake.

-- Even Sundar’s alt mode is Bollywood related , though it’s a bit of a stretch.

-- I'm still getting into Bollywood myself so, if there are any fans out there, I'd be forever grateful if you'd give me ideas/advice or suggest some good movies to watch.

-- As much as I really, really want to give Sundar an accent, I don't know how to write it properly

-- Yes, she will dance with you with little to no prompting.
