Description
Here's another sketch of Sarah Brown from Guys and Dolls. I was talking to my director about costumes and she described mine to me, and I got so excited that I decided to draw it! I get a nanny cape! OH YEAH!!!! On the downside though, the costume is mostly wool, so I'll be ROASTING in it. But it'll be fun roasting in a nanny cape!

Oh, and here's what's going on in my picture. (I didn't draw a BG though, because I suck at those)

This is during the first scene after Sarah and her Mission Band make an entrance in Times Square and she's standing on a soap box and attempting to preach to the crowd (full of gamblers) passing by, and everyone's ignoring her. (poor Sarah!)

Sarah: Brothers and sisters, resist The Devil and He will flee from you! That is what The Bible tells us! *Gamblers get bored, start to leave* HEAR ME YOU GAMBLERS!!! With your dice, your cards... just around the corner is our little mission where you are always welcome to take refuge from The Jungle of Sin! Join me, brothers and sisters in resisting The Devil and we can put The Devil... *everyone left, Sarah calls after them desperately* Remember friends, Save a Soul mission, located at 409 West 49th street, open all day and all night... *she is ignored* Oh, never mind...

speaking in Bible Talk with lots of Capital Letters is really Fun! It makes everything I say sound Important!
