Commission for See his full details on the suit on his DA page Colonial Space Marine UpgradeFirst of all, I would like to thank the artist, Inspector97 , for taking the time and effort in preparing this artwork. This is an updated look of the iconic US Colonial Marine body armour and weapons from the Aliens franchise. Alternately, this could also be seen as what the production model of the official M4X Armour (from the game, Aliens versus Predator: Extinction) might look like. According to the official info:

He wanted to upgrade the Colonial Space marines from the Alien fanchise...into something more futuristic looking. Between us we used some influence from Halo and Mass Effect

I like, I think the space marines from alien-predator franchise kind look outdated compaired to most modern sci-fi frenchise.

I could see the Halo/Mass Effect influence, and you know what? I like it, that closed helmet should be facehugger-proof

I figure it would have enhanced heads up display...more modes then simple infa red. I also would think a neat addition would be reservoirs of acid neutralizing compound is hidden in catch pockets in the armor

Don't forget emergency quick-release systems in case parts of the armour need to be taken off in a hurry.

Officially, there is a new body armour design where the Xenomorphs and the Yautja were taken into consideration. The M4X Armour ( avp.wikia.com/wiki/M4X_Armor ), which appeared in the game, "Aliens versus Predator: Extinction" ( avp.wikia.com/wiki/Aliens_vers… ).

I figure it should have a lot of tech built in like heads up and communications. I even think it should have hidden fluid dispensers to neutralize molecular acids....y'know..just in case

No problem. Big fan of the franchise. Always love the classic look from the film, but this is pretty neat too.
