i must say what i really enjoy is the focuse of this piece. it almost looks as though she really is made of sand and is sinking into herself. the shadows are also wonderful.

This is a very beautiful piece. I like her hair as it looks it is either flouting in water or blowing in wind but at ground level like sand blows along but tends to skim the surface. Great choice of colours and face too.

Looks really neat. I love the roots coming out of her hair, that looks real. Not too crazy about the ones on her forehead as they don't look as realistic. Good luck in the contest, hun, this is a great piece
