'Wow...'

Sharp black eyes peered out over the sea; it was breath-taking as was every cruise the young man had been on.

He crossed his arms, leaning against the railings of the cruise ship before exchanging glances with his friends on either side of him; Shigeru and Hibiki. Shigeru's bright green eyes lingered on the ebony ones a little longer before they closed like blind shutters. Hibiki's golden-yellow ones were beaming with joy, an adventure with a whole group of people he has yet to meet. Satoshi was truly treating him after their troubles in Jhoto.

He brought his white cap with the scarlet semi-circle emblem over his eyes; his mother had sent him the gifts of new clothing to wear as his other ones were shrinking slowly in the coldness of the high altitude mountain. His consisted of a white cap similar to his old one, but reversed colours. The only difference was a pale gray 'L-like' symbol crossing from the front all the way round to the left side of the hat. His vest was open and coloured white, with a red zip lining and trim followed by gray-black khaki trousers. One hand had a long glove, made mainly of black leather and another fingerless one that matched his new colour scheme.

Shigeru was wearing a casual white dress shirt underneath a black jacket with chest pockets, round his neck was draped a tear-shaped necklace that glows an emerald green; he also wore beige-brown trousers and boots to go with it, the brunette had to admit that his rival's mother knew his style better than he – what was he doing wearing purple most of his years?

Shigeru twisted with his earring, a small hoop in his left ear that was made of the same stone as his previous pendant that had smashed during the Team Rocket incident, so
obviously the earring was split between green and yellow.

The youngest of the trio was Hibiki, from New Bark in Jhoto – he was so excited to visit Hoenn with his new friends. He had stolen the position Champion away from Satoshi when they met atop of Mt. Silver, but he knew that Kanto would always see Satoshi as their true champion. He didn't really mind, he just grinned excitedly staring out into the oceans; his jet black hair swaying in the breeze, only held down by his goggles.

A woman with brunette hair opened the door to a "scientist" running round his lab away from a new, strange Pokémon that was a yellow rat that was coated with a grey fur and has a large red nose; she sighed heavily at him before picking up the Pokémon that chased the hippie scientist around.

"Thanks a lot, Willow!"

"Don't mention it... ever."

The darker brunette man laughed half-kindheartedly at his colleague, his name was Baro and was a professor for the Corna region he resided in; He had shoulder length hair, and wore simple clothing like the plain white t-shirt he had with the black rim on the bottom and on the sleeves as well as jeans and sneakers – He was never one for all the lab coats like his fellow scientist friend Professor Oak.

Willow stood there frowning at him behind her glasses; her green eyes burning into his own.

"...I forgot something didn't I?"

"You haven't prepared the welcoming of the Champions of Kanto, and the other regions – and their friends you moronic douche!"

Baro laughed faintly before running round the older woman, and escaping into the route
only to be chased by Sever like the previous one in his lab.
