Great atmosphere in this piece. The darkness yet the last light of day hits the stained glass and shines it's light at the fallen? dead? angel.... Oh god it a person!! I noticed the crack in the right wing! O.O So a lost soul trying to find solice or comfort in the sunset of his life. HeartbreakingΒ Β
I love the composition and the colours, and the way you have placed the person in front of the stained glass angel. I really thought it was his wings until I started wrighting xD I think though you could have pulled back a bit with the "camera" Showing more background, and making him look smaller. More vulnerable and alone. The sadist in me would maybe also have liked hin a bit more scruffy, like dirty or torn clothes, like a homeless person, but that is more becasue I interpret it as a person gone through a lot of hardships in life. In that regard he looks a bit too nice

There's such a stillness in this picture, as if all you hear is nothing while Joseph sleeps by the wings. The mixture between the cool and warm colors also help with the mood too and that sense of isolation. Really well done Frisson!

I actually had a version of this painting where I was gonna add Lea, I still might but I'm not sure XD I'll show you the wip with Lea in it tho cause I was super proud of it too. I didn't finish it tho,

Draining.
Although this picture is beautiful, genuine with its humanity, I can't help but feel the miserableness it depicts. That being said, job well done! I enjoy the little nick-knack details here in there. My favorite parts are the factory and reflection. It reminds me more of the art I'd seen studying humanities. Whether or not you were going for certain imagery, I'm not sure, but I can tell you what I see.
Factory is very obvious, I'm sure if more of those keep springing up throughout our planet, so we'll all look like this poor chap. Very clever that you put that there because we really don't look there immediately. Life is a battle between our conscience and our animal instincts after all.
Judging by the reflection, it's as if he's gazing at hell, red hot flames - much like the heat caused by those factories. Even though we'd like to seem good, I'm sure he was working at that factory, is exhausted and knows what his work does. Meanwhile above the gigantic stained glass window resembles the almighty spiritual being. I think this piece could bring forth many ideas.
As for the actual arts, the colors are well organized, along with the lighting. I enjoy how the light and dark play a role together. The colors are very deep, like they're alive, and very much resemble a stained glass window.Β Spectacular work - I don't really have too many concerns. Perhaps some parts I feel were too sharp but overall I can't complain. It's a great piece and I hope you continue to make many more.

It's very emotional and I can feel it vibrating off the screen. You must have spent a lot of time blending and creating the background because holy shit - it's amazing. It's thought provoking too. Why isn't he waking up? What's his story? I almost would love to see this piece in an actual art gallery to have critics try and take a crack at the possible story.
