*shakes head* its so horribly easy to tell that my goatee is just eyeliner scribbled on. Going to try making it a point to make some kind of false hairpiece.Debuted at: AnimeNEXT08
Time taken to complete: 4 or 5 hours
Character: Tony Stark
Series or Game: IronMan (movie version)
Inspiration for cosplay: Yet another cosplay put together just to wear or use a prop from it. In this case I fell in love with the Ark Reactor from the movie and had to make one.
Comments: Considering I was on staff for AN08 I really wasn't expecting to cosplay too much and after wearing the costume Friday night it was too comfortable to not wear whenever else I could get into costume. It was also rather odd being hit on hardcore by random ladies an not being recognized by other staffers until I opened my mouth.

how did u get the arch reactor to stick on ur body i gotta know

The arch reactor is made out of styrene and LED's so its really light. Since I wasn't worried about any heavy duty attaching I just ended up using a duct tape doughnut (when you roll tape into a roll). Then just stuck it to my chest.

Looks very good, even with the stippled beard. While an actual hairpiece would look even better, they're kinda itchy.
What did you use to make the little arc reactor?

Yea I actually made a hairpiece out of latex so hopefully it won't look lultastic when I go to wear it next.
And I used a 9 volt battery, 8 white leds and styrene plastic to make the reactor. Was actually wiring it during one of the AnimeNEXT staff meetings. XD
