Moon was sitting down in Zim's base, he was discussing his plans. Standing in front of the light of the computer, Moon listened to every word. But she did get distracted by Zim at times, for the first time she noticed that he was blushing. She giggled quietly. She'd never seen an Irken blush, especially when she was around. It was cute to see Zim like this and she blushed to.
Zim finished up and looked down at Moon, "So do you understand what I'm trying to get at?" Moon nodded and had an idea in her head already. All Zim was trying to do was find a weak spot that humans would be deeply affected by and then try taking over the world while they were weak. But he needed to get into their emotions first. But what he needed was to get to a human source first. Thankfully Moon knew a lot about humans and their emotions.
"Zim," Moon perked up. "I know some things about human emotions."
"Hmm." he said thoughtfully, "really?"
"Oh yes, I've been on earth for a long time now."
"Good, good." Zim was utterly amazed, not only was Moon smart. But she knew things not even Zim knew. He asked her to go ahead and she explained nearly every emotion with great detail. Zim looked her with admiring and loving eyes. She had suddenly gotten more beautiful then she already was.
"Zim?" Moon said. Zim hadn't realized that he spaced out staring at this female Irken beauty.
"Errr-uhh, thanks! I never knew about love, and sadness, and loneliness. How'd you figure all this out?"
"Oh, I just studied." Zim couldn't help himself, this Irken was perfect for him. She was smart and beautiful, and she was as powerful as Zim could be. Zim got closer to Moon and hugged her. 'She's so warm', he thought. Moon, on the other hand was blushing.
Zim was blushing as well, but he hugged tighter. 'I think I'm actually in love', he thought. "Umm, Zim," Moon said. He opened one eye.
"Mhm?" he was more in his own little world than the actual world.
"I need...to breath?"
"Oh! Oh yeah..." he quickly stopped hugging her.
"What was that for?" she tilted her head to the side.
"Umm, friendly hug? Or something..."
"Oh okay!" Moon smiled and hugged back. Zim practically melted in her arms. She giggled.

The bell for lunch rang the next day in Skool. And Zim asked Moon to stay back for a moment. "Yes Zim," she asked in her usual sweet voice. Zim blushed and stuttered as he tried to talk.
"A-about y-yesturday...I, umm," he clearly couldn't speak.
