Moon looked back and forth at them both. A deep surge of embarrassment rose from deep within her, 'Zim likes me, he really does like me. He must be jealous of Dib! Oh god...what do I do now? They're probably going to continue on like this for hours.' She wanted to make Dib go away, so she could talk to Zim, but he clearly wasn't going anywhere without an explanation from Zim. She had no clue what to do to make Dib go away...he just stood there, still shocked.
Zim crossed his Irken arms, and after a couple of seconds he began to get impatient. "Leave Dib-monkey! Nothing is going on here! Me and Moon are just...how you say...hanging out." He stared, with evil eyes, toward Dib as he stood there like a statue. His mouth hung open, and he looked like he had just gotten punched in the face. It was clear Zim had never yelled at Dib this ferociously before. Finally, after mintues and minutes of nothing, Dib finally managed to speak.
"Mark my words ZIM, I will find out what;s going on between you two." He looked at Mon with cold eyes, and she shivered a little at Dib's sinister tone. "Remember that the next time you two decide to start making plans. I'll be there!" He lifted his chin triumphantly, as if he HAD done anything, and stomped straight out the door. Leaving behind nothing but a relieved Zim. He relaxed a bit and looked at Moon.
"Where were we?" He asked.
"Oh, umm, we were going to sit here before he showed up."
"To do what...?"
"I dunno, I guess we were going to talk." Zim blushed again, as he always does when he's alone with her, and sat down in the empty spot to her left. He hadn't a clue what to talk about, so he just stared at her and went into his little daydream place. "Zim," she said. "I..don't know how to say this but...do you, um, do you....l-like me?" She turned her head to him and he blushed deeply and looked away.
"What m-makes you think that?" He stuttered.
"Its just...you got so upset when Dib kept mentioning me and I-" Moon couldn't finish her sentence because Zim, finally getting through his honest feelings, pressed his lips against hers, kissing her gently but lovingly.
