Ninth in a (very long) series of character sheets for a Sonic fanfiction I have in the works.Since I draw human females all the time, Maria didn't really need the extra headshots, so the bottom half of her page got dedicated to a shot of her and Shadow as kids, which turned out so well, I think I'll take a short break from character sheets to color it!
In this fic universe, the pair of them spent quite a few nights sleeping in the back of Gerald's car, being on the run from the governement (though he could never tell them that) and all. They also move to a new town every few years.
More images of the pair of the growing up are on my to-draw list. ^_^

Haha, nah - I like their relationship best as brother & sister, and in this fanfic version, they grow up together (his not being immortal, and actually aging), so it seems only natural for that to be the bond they form.
