Description

(This is obviously not my best piece of artwork. It was heavily rushed since I was short on time in making this. However, I told Phooma12345 that I would get this done as soon as I can, so I managed to finish this in the little time I had. Despite this being rushed, I was so happy to be drawing my Adventure Time OC again. uwu This will probably be my last submission for a couple weeks.)

However, she does not like crowded spaces; she prefers to meet new people one-on-one and know everything there is to know about them, since she is genuinely interested in them and a great listener. Diane is very protective of the ones she loves, and will do anything for them and also enjoys making/giving gifts for them. However, she can become flustered and shy when she has a crush on someone. She is also very creative, and enjoys singing, playing the piano, knitting, and painting.

Bio: Diane was born out of wedlock to drug dealer Randall Heart and the married musician Celeste Vanetta. However, Celeste and her husband, Nikolas, believed that the baby was theirs, and raised Diane together in their home in the Nightosphere without thinking any differently. Nikolas and Celeste did indeed have two children of their own; daughters Ophelia and Willow, who were both older than Diane. Diane, her mother, stepfather, and two half-sisters shared a loving family, which seemed perfect and unbreakable. Celeste cared greatly for her three daughters, and gave them support whenever they needed it (and provided fashion tips whenever asked for any). Nikolas provided the three sisters with discipline and was more strict then Celeste, but was nonetheless nurturing. Ophelia and Willow spoiled their younger sister and loved to play games with her, their favorite game being dress up. As Diane grew older, she began to develop feelings for boys, but never had the guts to act upon her crushes. Seeing her sister's losing battle, Ophelia always told Diane that boys were "dumb" and that having loving parents and siblings was what really mattered. While Ophelia tended to Diane's frustration, Willow encouraged playfulness and kindness in her sister, and a love for creativity. Everything was perfect.

Unfortunately, disaster struck Diane's perfect life when the family took a vacation out of the Nightosphere. Diane contracted a foreign sickness. The illness developed into a more deadly disease which in turn took her life. Diane was only 13 years old. She was buried on a small plot of land near where the family had vacationed. However, since she died at such a young age and had felt that life had "ripped her off", Diane's spirit returned as a ghost. Her ghost was never was able to find her family again, and the spirit went dormant, returning the ground.

As for Diane's biological father Randall Heart, she never met him in life. It was only after she died that the two met, while her ghost was searching for her family. She did not like him much, for he was too rude for her taste. Despite not liking him very much (and he knowing that she did not like him), he persisted in chatting with her, since he suspected that Celeste was her mother because of her striking resemblance to her. Diane did tell him that Celeste was her mother. However, Randall had no reason to believe that Diane was his child since Celeste had been married, and it was far more likely that Diane was Nikolas' child. Since Randall had persisted in chatting with her, Diane decided she could put the fact that he was a jerk aside and become friends with him.

Over 800 years later, Diane's spirit was awoken once more by a 15-year-old ice elf named Marvin stumbling on her grave. The gravestone was hidden by overgrown plants, and was also covered by moss. The words on it were nearly unreadable after years of neglect. Creepily enough, the only words on it that had remained were "DI  E" from her first name. Together, the ghost and the elf cleaned off the gravestone, nearly returning it to its original state. The two quickly became close friends, and Diane moved into Marvin's shack as his roommate. Eventually, the friendly feelings developed further, and the two developed a steady relationship with one another. Finally, Diane's feelings for a boy were returned. The two currently love to go on adventures, and Diane loves watching Marvin do "living tasks" because it reminds her of how it is to be alive.
