Description
"Tell me again Doctor; where the hell are we!?" Rattail, now named RedHawk, asked impatiently. Brooke raised a finger as if telling him to hold on a moment before pulling a machete from inside her boot. The planet the trio was visiting looked like an Earth jungle, in various shades of purples, oranges, and yellows. Robert blinked when she did so."Damn Breezy, is there any weapon you don't know how to use?" he laughed, a bit nervously. Brooke giggled and nodded.
"Yep!" she replied, holding up the machete. "This one!" She then began walking off. Robert looked to RedHawk.
"You knew her Father?" he asked, brushing a tuft of fiery red hair away from his eyes. RedHawk nodded and rubbed his head.
"Well…more or less is more accurate," he retorted with a sigh. Robert looked to the ground, thinking. RedHawk raised an eyebrow.
"What's on your mind?" he asked, confused. Robert shrugged.
"Just…stuff," he replied, then looked up in the direction Brooke had run off in. "I think we should probably follow her, hell knows what reckless trouble she's getting into now!" RedHawk rolled his eyes.
"I suppose so," he replied. They both then ran off.

After following a trail of poorly cut apart vines and underbrush, the two companions finally found Brooke, standing at the edge of a clearing. Robert immediately ran forward. "BROOKE! Are you stupid!?" he yelled, grabbing her arm and turning her to face him. Brooke grabbed her chest with her free hand, her sea green eyes wide.
"God damn it, Robbie, you almost gave me a double heart attack!" she scolded him, standing on the tips of her toes and wrapping her thin arms around his neck. RedHawk sighed and rolled his eyes.
"Lovely reunion you two, but Doctor Song, what did you come all the way here for?" he asked, sniffing the air. His eyes then widened. "Oh, that's what." Brooke giggled and nodded while Robert set her back down on her feet, his expression thoroughly confused.
"What're you talking about?" he asked, looking between them. RedHawk pointed up at a tree, but nothing, absolutely nothing was there. He rubbed his ice blue eyes, but still, they were alone.
"What are you two smoking, and why haven't I gotten any? I don't see anything!" he said. RedHawk hit his face on his palm.
"That's because it doesn't want you to see it!" he lectured, then looked back to Brooke who was staring at Robbie like he was crazy.
"Robert, darling, are you trying to mess with me? The creature is clearly climbing out of that tree as I am telling you this!" she pointed to a tree, unamused.
"Breezy, there is nothing!"
"It's not funny! Stop messing with me!"
"BOTH OF YOU SHUT UP! Miss Pond, you are the only one of us who is seeing that…thing right now! We are only able to see it when it wants us to, and I can only smell it!" RedHawk shouted, a bit annoyed. Both Robert and Brooke stopped fighting and turned to look at him.
"How is that you two can't see her like I'm seeing her, why is it only when she wants you to?" Brooke asked frantically, a bit scared.
"We aren't Gallifreyan, that's why!" RedHawk replied. Brooke could barely hear him; she was too occupied in walking toward the creature in a trance. Robert turned to RedHawk.
"What is she do-" he began, but his comrade interrupted him.
"Miss Pond, don't go after that thing, it could be extremely dangerous!" he yelled to her. Brooke waved him off indifferently.
"Oh, hush hush Hawky, I know what I'm doing…" The Man of Many Names' eyes widened as he sensed the creature run off. Brooke blinked and immediately took off after it. "…sort of!" the young Time Lady laughed maniacally, vanishing from their sight. RedHawk growled deeply.
"Great!" he hissed and ran off after her. Robert sighed and followed after him.
"WAIT UP! I'm only human!"

The stunning creature stopped by a stream, looked around for any intruders, and knelt down by it. Seeing that was indeed alone, the creature dipped her hands into the cool, pristine water, splashing some on her face. A rustle in the bushed behind her made her eyes shoot open and turn around to see Brooke sitting behind her carelessly, smiling. The two aliens stared at each other for a good long time before Brooke held out her hand. "I'm not going to hurt you," she whispered gently to the creature, who in return pulled a makeshift bow and arrow from a quiver on her back and pointed it directly between Brooke's two hearts.
"What are you doing here, daughter of time?" the creature hissed the question in a rough, broken voice. Unfazed, Brooke only looked at her questioningly.
"I'm just here with my two friends you saw back there…well, one's my friend, the other is…a bit more than a friend…anyway, we're just doing the timey-wimey, spacey-wacey thing," she replied. "But…why would that be a bad thing?" The creature didn't lower her weapon.
"Please tell me you don't know," she asked. Brooke shrugged.
"Sorry, I have no clue what you're talking about," the teenage Gallifreyan answered. The creature looked into the Time Lady's gentle sea green eyes. Naive eyes. Sincere eyes. Truthful eyes. She was being serious. Finally, the creature lowered her bow a bit.
"I should've guessed that…it was before your time…" she sighed. Brooke laughed.
"That was a great time pun!" she smiled care freely. The creature snapped her head to look at her coldly.
"The children of time brought a disease that destroyed the population of my people! The Doctor…the Doctor ruined us!" she hissed to the girl. Brooke stopped laughing and looked to the creature, all playfulness now gone from her face.
"I'm sorry…I'm so sorry," she whispered, looking to the ground. Before the creature could say anything, RedHawk's voice called from the jungle.
"MISS POND! Get back here, now! You have no clue what danger you might be in!" he yelled. "Where are you!" The creature giggled then held out her hand to Brooke.
"Jesstax." Brooke smiled and shook her hand.
"Brooke Song." Jesstax looked to her.
"The Doctor, his lady…her last name was the same as yours," Jesstax stated suspiciously. Brooke gulped and hopped to her feet.
"Uh, allow me to explain, once I explain to my companions where I went, so I need to come up with an explanation for this!" she motioned for Jess to follow before running off. "Alons-y!"
