well, this is the colored version of my contest entry for 's contest. god! this was insane! this was like a week of obsessive work!
and i mean obsessive! i was really obsessed with doing this XD staying up till 2 AM working on it for most of the week... god even now i'm still tired... i really do hope this wins... man it was extrememely hard to do! you won't imagine how bad my fingers hurt now... anyway, i'm extremely happy with the way this looks... i love the way i colored it to look kinda glum... kinda like what you see in those WWII movies like saving private ryan, letters from iwo jima... and others... originally this was brightly colored...
i actually wanted it to be more violent, i'd have like people being blown up into pieces, lit on fire, laying down in the battlefield with their guts hanging out screaming in pain. well at least i was able to accomplish the people being lit of fire XD (as you can see in the background) and i actually got the explosions right XD and yeah i also like how the lasers turned out... all in all, i'm just very happy with this pic...

This reminds me of a Fanfic I'm doing right now. The Resisty has become more powerful overnight and the Irkens look screwed. But wait, it starts getting worse...
But anyway, I love the visor effect on the Troopers. Makes them look evil and nasty. And THANK YOU for not making any jaws jut out like in the show. I adopted that movement, just to see what happens and what it looks like, and it stuck in place the entire day...
