This was going to be a speed-paint.A SPEED PAINT.
But then I had this image of a city dyed a deep rosy hue... And it turned into this .
I'm not sure where Betelgeuse is, but it's a mountainous planet, with a rose-like city rising from a valley, almost as big as the hills surrounding it.
This took me about ... FFFFFF SIX HOURS. Fawk. I was going to do other stuff today, but I don't regret doing this XD That is the most detailed background I've done to date XD Not to mention I am very pleased with Bet's pose there, too.
Inspired by the music of Shihad, specifically 'Spacing', 'Only Time', 'Home Again' and 'Brightest Star'.

Bet's pose, and the city, and that gentle yet somehow intense beautiful light....ahhh just lovely. I LOVE the CITY.
Black cities with neon glow is always so amazing. Especially the futuristic, edgy designs of the buildings. Loveeee. <3 The lighting and everything is amazing. AMAZING.
I'm going to once again say that I REALLY WISH you would livestream, or at least post a WIP progression sometimes. I'm really interested to see your steps of coloring. >[
The only problem I have with this picture is that for me, it was hard to recognize Betelgeuse. At first I didn't know who it was. I don't know why. o_O
And now I'm off to look up the music you mentioned. c: Although I feel like you've mentioned Shihad before, as a band extremely hard to find. Is that the same one?

He's not really the main focus, to be truthful, and his character design is quite simple. Hard to tell them apart without the fancy antennae, huh?

That's one epic city, yo.
I really love all the detail you put into this, especially the city. It can be tempting to skimp out, esp. on backgrounds, but it looks like you put a lot of effort throughout the whole thing. The pose and perspective is great, and the colors are well-chosen. It really gives an eerie kind of feeling. The stars are also placed realistically (a lot of artists, including myself when I get lazy, tend to put stars evenly spaced, creating an artificial look). I don't really have anything bad to say about this. Your skill always blows me away.

Nice, but too bad I can't feel it so better, like people in comments before. Strange, but this pink-gray colors make pain in my eyes and head, I can look on picture just for details

Excellent choice of colors and use of lighting, Betelgeuse does get a bit lost in the BG though, hard to see him stand out, if not for his eyes, you could look over him. Great details on the city itself. Awesome work as always, keep it up.

ASDAsdmasdmkADMFFF so huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge. D: It's so beautiful! That's a really, REALLY pretty shade of red-pink-ish. The lighting is just incredible; from the glow of the city to the less-dramatic but very present glow of his.. I'll just call it a watch [DERP on me. XD], and what appears to be a bit of his PAK. And don't even get me started on the background detailing -- the city's so fabulous it makes me just want to get lost in it [Which may be a really bad idea. XD]. The style of the architecture is very lovely as well, it really gives off a 'futuristic' vibe to me, with a pinch of dark or creepiness to it, or even just mystery when you consider all the vast mountain ranges and how nestled the city seems there. ... I also see a smiley face! Bottom-most building.
His pose looks like one of those 'problem poses' that come with all sorts of issues with angling and perspective, but you nailed it really well, I think! You should be pleased. You should always be pleased. <3 Sorry for another textwall. >.<
