PEOPLE!!! I THINK I HAVE FOUND A HIDDEN IMAGE OF THE CREATURE! LOOK BEYOND THE BUILDINGS.... IN THE SMOKE THERE IS A HEAD LOOKING BACK.this is not an actual picture from the movie, its just my theory......

At the end of cloverfield. It plays that video. In the background you see a very, very, very, very, very, very, very, VERY, small dot fall from the sky and hit the ocean. That's why Clover is angry!... Or.. either that or the fact he's a baby loking for it's mom.... one or the other...

I think I see it. If it looks like a humanoid face, then I can definately see it! yup! If not then uh...I guess I'll keep looking! LOL!
Anyway, I may have been the only one to notice this in the trailer, but there is a scene, where it looks like a white sheet is covering a window or something and you can see the shadows of two people behind it. One of the "people", has a hold of the other by the shoulders and it looks as if it opens its mouth to bite into the one its holding.
The "thing", looks as if it has claws and fangs and it appears to be sinister in nature.
Anyway, that is one of the things I seen, when watching the trailer on TV. Maybe I could have just been putting more into that clip of the trailer, than what I should have ^^()
If I had the ability to draw Monster characters, I would draw my version of what I think this thing looks like, but oh well...Guess I'll just have to wait to see the movie.
Normally I don't like movies that appear to be home videos, but I think I'll make an exception for this one.

some people are saying that its cthulhu from the necronomicon or its a giant bug or whale... i think its a reptilian creature....

see, I think that too. I was hearing rumors, that it is going to be either amphibian/reptilian or have the traits of them. besides, I thought cthulhu's flew and were considered slow, yet powerful? This thing, doesn't appear to have wings, yet it looks extremely powerful. as for a giant bug, possibly, but the brief seens don't make it look like a bug as far as a whale...if it WAS a whale, it would be bigger and bulkier and the brief glimpse of the legs and right arm, are to skinny to support the size of a whale...at least I think so anyway lol! ^^
Its strange, because when I watch the previews on tv, there is a scene in there, where it looks like a white sheet is covering a window, and you see two shadows. its only a brief shot, like everything else lol!
But, anyway, you can clearly see one as being more sinister in nature and is holding the other shadow, what looks like by the shoulders and appears to open a mouth to bite down on the human shadow. It also appears to have claws and fangs and the face seems to be strangely shaped.
Maybe its just a trick of the lighting, but thats what it looked like to me. ^^

LOL! Like I said, it could have just been me. I'm not sure, if that scene is in the trailer that they showed before transformers, but it was in the one, that has been on TV.

well, its behind a couple of buildings, its where you see the helicopter. okay the building pointing up...the chrysler building... look to the right and its left of the helicopter
