This is the route I take when playing Slender. This is the map. (Beautiful, yes? ) All of the green represents trees. Sorry, I'm not going to draw all of them. XD
My advice:
1) Walk straight forward when you start. You should arrive at the side entrance of the building.
2) Keep your flashlight off until you see the first page. This saves battery, and shouldn't be scary, because he's not after you until you hear the booms.
3) Don't use sprint until you have at least four pages.
4) Sprint VERY MUCH when you have 6 pages, but don't sprint all the time.
5) Sprint as much as possible when you have 7 pages.
6) Don't turn your flashlight off after you turn it on. He tracks you faster with the light off.
7) Saw a page, and missed it? You: Oh, I'll just go back! Me: NEVER turn around. You miss the page, you're done for.
8) Don't take detours. Stay on the route, never stray away, unless forced to. (And by forced to, I mean he's standing RIGHT in your way.)
9) Turn the music down a bit. XD

Oh god...I live near a forest that has this almost same exact trail....I was walking my dog at night by the forest when I swear I saw Slendy...I know it was real because it looked like my dog was barking at a really tall tree. A tree that was taller than the others.

Ikr? I don't think I ever ran home so fast, this time dragging my dog with me; he's usually the one who leads me, but he was trying to attack the tall tree!

My tips though:
Get the page in the building in the first/last page.
Stay calm and move on.
Use that sprint when the jumpscare sound (a loud boom) happens.
STOP TURNING BACK. It's really tempting to, but he might randomly pop out of nowhere behind you. But check regularly (and as in regularly, I mean every 5 minutes or so.)
