Even though Alphys told her a thousand times not to, Undyra still likes to come to the lab, just to enrage Alphys. They’ve been through so much, just to end up yelling at each other once again. Looking at them, can you call them “friends”?

And about your question...I wanted to make the answer short, but failed a bit 
Well, they have a bit complicated relationship. They’re not actually “friends” because they like each other, but because they need to be. As they both work for king Asgore, they meet pretty often and need to cooperate with each other.
But, on the other hand, Alph saved Undyra from infection when she lost her eye, so rather or not Undyra likes it, she owe Alph her life.
They also have really different characters, so no matter how much one of them would like to make friends with another, such a friendship would mean breaking oneself for both.
I really like making everything more complicated, don’t I?
