In a nocturnal deluge, an unkindness of ravens convened, each feather a shard of obsidian against the dark sky. In my dream, they bore whispers, interstellar missives from the cryptic recesses of the cosmos.

The utterances reverberated, insidious and sacred, divulging secrets that family and friends would never dare articulate. These avian augurs became both benediction and anathema, their cawing a cacophonous hymn of human duplicity. The tapestry of gossip unfurled, its woof and warp replete with malevolent threads.

Struggling to extricate myself from this oneric curse, I clawed my way out of the nightmare, only to find myself to be a raven! Then I awoke once more, drenched in corporeal sweat, imprisoned again in my human form, ensnared eternally between realms of revelation and enigma.
