Blaze is Russel's best and only friend. Even though house animals tend to stay away from anything related to the wild, Blaze is a street cat annndd honestly a troublemaker. He is a little thug who won't doubt on getting in a fight with anyone (hence the missing part of his ear) and just like to shake things up.

So honestly, house animals aren't really fond of him, but he finds it amusing actually. After all, he's living the life HE wants, and nobody can say anything to bring down his confidence.

Why he is Russel's friend will be explained later, but I'll just say for now that he... understands him, in a way nobody can.
