Description So with this piece, I introduce the name of my comic: Paala Hua.l

Paala Hua means "raised" or "domesticate" in Hindi, considering most of my characters have Hindi origin names. Aside from the title, this is a word the wild animals use to refer to domesticates throughout my comic. Thought I would incorporate some traditions between wild animals or such, since they are probably more connected with eachother and respectful to nature, traditions seem fitting.

So this is an obvious reference to Scar from the Lion King, and I chose to do it as a screen cap.

Even though I believe shere-kan has a better personality to fit Sohan, Scar's body language is so much more expressive. After all, scar does pretend through most of the movie as to "not really being evil," but his body languag e gives him away. Since shere-kan doesn't hide this fact of being pretty aggressive, his dialogues and attitude radiate bad intentions (not really evil considering his motives in the movie, which are very similar to Sohan). So yeah, I'm playing around with qualities of this two characters to build Sohan's own personality.

(Note: aside from names and title, I don't really reference Indian culture. Even though I find learning and involving other cultures in a narration is beautiful, since I'm just starting with "official" story telling, I don't have experience with such. I reached Hindi because when I was looking for a name for the first character I came up with I looked for "names with meaning" and reached a Hindi name I found fitting, so I chose for consistency to keep names and words Hindi).
