So I was siting around surfing for music while angsting over how I never get stuff done, while I could have gotten stuff done... you know, the usual. when suddenly, I click a song and gets punched in the gut by nostalgia! and so I drew this (said song was this [link] ).

I've actually gotten into reading Naruto again after some years, since I heard it was drawing to it's end (nope! well, yes but not for a while) and I've always had a bit of a kink for redesigning stuff so I drew team 7 as supposed adults.

I based Sakura's design of shit loads of Chinese dresses with interesting designs, courtesy of google. she was the most fun.

Naruto, idk. I tried to go with simplicity and from my searches on him here on DA, many others did the same. I still have other design ideas for him though..

Sasuke is a life sucking bastard and I had little energy left when I finally reached him so yeah.. in retrospect there was quite a lot I could have aded there.

the yellow stuff is their chakra, since Kishimoto mentioned in the early books that Naruto thought of it as yellow... that is just a thinly veiled excuse, I really just wanted to go nuts with the effects (I am the George Lucas of art!1!!) or maybe it's their fire nation spirit!

and Kakashi? well... I didn't put him in there 'cause he's to much of a heartbreaker
