She's got beautiful eyes, and I actually like the shading you did on the nose. I always have trouble with noses, which irks my sister to no end. She's got this weird obsession with me getting them juuuust right.

Hehe that sounds really familiar.
With my sister, no matter who I'm drawing, she'll always comment on the nose first. Especially if it's someone real or done with from a photo, it's always "You got their nose wrong!"
Then I tell her she has nose-fixation and she gets mad XD

no I didn't learn to speak english like this at school.. about 3 years ago I was VERY bored during my summer vacation, so I ended up watching my whole dvd collection in english.. then I started mailing with people from the US and from japan, which also helped me improving my vocab^^
u should try that too
aand watching dvds and reading books is much more fun than reading dull texts in school

art class is kinda difficult because we have to draw so much different stuff.. now we're working on a popart portrait, which is actually so not my style as u might know XD
there are so many good students in my class.. it's so hard to stay under the good ones @__@
