This is an awesome tutorial C:
I just got my tablet about 1 month ago so I'm not that used to it. This helped alot for me.
Usually I do my sketches on paper then scan it, then open it up on SAI and finish it.
How I draw on SAI :
Lineart on 1 layer
Skin on 1 layer
All clothes on one layer
Hair on 1 layer
Eyes on 1 layer
and any other extras on 1 layer.
I'm not that good at BG'S, so ussually I leave the back of the pic white. And for shading, I do the shades on the same layer for everything. (ex : skin shades on the skin layer, hair shades on the hair layer, etc.) Sometimes I try different styles of drawing with SAI, but the style I currently use is the easiest for me. I might try your tyle on my next pic C:

OH dang I forgot to put that.
In this tutorial I just used the pen and eraser.
For the sketch and lineart it was around about 15 pix (but it was a fairly large canvas as I said)
and then once I was done with the lineart, I turned the stablizer off and adjusted the size according to what area I was coloring.
And for the clouds in the background I used the marker and water tool (at the preset settings) at around 30 or 40 pix.

It depends.
I just installed Photoshop today to do the text in the tutorial oTL
But yeah you can add them in SAI, but you have to make some adjustments.
I do multiply, but it makes it look dark so I go up to filter-brightness and contrast- and up the brightness.
Or if you don't mind changing the color a bit you can do overlay-filters-hue and saturation
AW SCREW IT I'LL MAKE ANOTHER TUTUORIAL ;D
