Vergänglichkeit der Schönheit/ Transcience of Beauty

translation:
In time will pale-faced Death arrive with his cold hand
And gentle fingers run at long last round thy breast,
Thy lovely coral lips of all their hue divest;
Thy shoulders' living snow will turn to bitter sand.

Thy eyes' sweet thunders will, the vigour of thy hand
Which overcomes so much, in time come second best,
That hair, which here today with golden glean is blest
Will in time's passing wilt, as any common band.

The gracious manners all, the foot that ne'er doth falter,
Since none will kneel again before thy beauty's altar,
They'll part return to dust, and part be null and nought.

This must all pass away hereafter and still more,
Thy heart alone is fit for all time to endure,
For, as was nature's way, from diamond it is wrought.

Dir endlich mit der zeit um deine brüste streichen,
Der liebliche corall der lippen wird verbleichen;
Der schultern warmer schnee wird werden kalter sand

Der augen süsser blitz, die kräffte deiner hand,
Für welchen solches fällt, die werden zeitlich weichen,
Das haar, das itzund kan des goldes glantz erreichen,
Tilget endlich tag und jahr als ein gemeines band.

Der wohlgesetzte fuß, die lieblichen gebärden,
Die werden theils zu staub, theils nichts und nichtig werden,
Denn opffert keiner mehr der gottheit deiner pracht.

Diß und noch mehr als diß muß endlich untergehen,
Dein hertze kan allein zu aller zeit bestehen,
Dieweil es die natur aus diamant gemacht.
