Beautiful work! As always, the costumes are absolutely lovely in every single detail, and the expressions convey superb emotion. (I like the queen's wide eye in comparison with the king's narrowed gaze. She looks rather taken aback and nervous and he suspicious--makes one wonder what's being said.) The soft pastel water colors are really gorgeous, they add a nice ethereal feel.

The idea is tha the jesters are no "fools" they are rather very smart and sometimes even poets... they are above good & evil by nature and can give real good advices if you know how to listen, hehehe
