OKAY OKAY, I KNOW WHAT YOU'RE GONNA SAY RUKA.I KNOW YOU'RE GONNA SAY "HAHA OK WOW YOU'RE GALLERY IS ALL PIRATES. YOUR WHOLE LIFE IS PIRATES"
WELL IN MY DEFENSE, THIS ISN'T PIRATES, THIS IS A GIANT WILD BOAR DEMON (feat. tiny phin) SO YOU KNOW WHAT, JUST LEAVE.
CHARUKTR DEVELIOPMINT OK HER WE GO~~~~~*~**~**~~*~
So Phineas really doesn't like going to sleep, mostly because he almost always has a nightmare, and that big demon thing is usually in it.
The demon is sort of a representation of all of Phin's fears and insecurities. Physically, it has the appearance of a wild boar, a lion, and an eagle. It is very obvious why it takes on wild boar characteristics to Phin; the Warden of his former Slave Camp (thing) is a Wild boar shifter. Just like the Warden, the demon cannot talk; instead it uses the voices of people Phineas cares about to speak to him. It seems to carry voices through the smoke that is constantly exuded from it's mouth.
The Demon wears a crown and is part lion due to Phineas's fears of the Monarchy. It is unknown why the Demon has eagle characteristics, it may be that a person that Phineas will meet one day (and hate/fear) will be an Eagle shifter, but that's unknown.
The Demon tells Phineas of all his insecurities, as said before, through the voices of friends and allies. It tells Phineas he's weak, useless, will never amount to anything, that nobody loves or cares about him, etc. Lately, his dreams have taken place on the Albatross, where Phin watches as the Demon sets fire to the ship, and has to watch all his friends and loved ones burn with the ship. Phineas tries to save them, but he is immobilized by the Demon.
He usually wakes up from these dreams freaking out and overheating. Sometimes, he has to run out of his sleeping quarters and jump into the water because he actually thinks the ship is on fire. He never talks about his terrible dreams and the Demon in it in fear of getting taunted by the crew.
Also, Phineas really doesn't like fire :- (
I want to type more but i tYPE WAY TOO MUCH, WOW, I REALLY THINK ABOUT A LOT OF THINGS FOR PHINEAS DON'T I.

Dude holy shit that is actually such a hILARIOUS THOUGHT.
It's a gorgeous night on the Albatross. The stars span across the sky, and the moon provided a warm glow that illuminated the ship. Blood Bandit was taking a late midnight stroll, and as she turned her head she saw oh my god was Phineas running across the deck screaming diD HE JUST JUMP IN THE WATER.

As the screaming filled the night air, only to be silenced by a splash, Bandit thought for a moment.
"...should I get help?" she asked herself outloud.
She snickered and grinned, resuming her stroll again. Bandit just hoped Kaskae was ready for a midnight snack.

This demon certainly has an interesting design. Quite unique thinking there too C: Each part of the demon represents a part of fear of Phineas's. IT'S GENIUS I SAY. I love the yellow glow everywhere, nice highlights and smoke

This is really well-drawn, first off. Just saying. The colors and the dynamic... Ness of this piece is superb.
the beast has a really cool design, too. Something that is definitely nightmare worthy.
And the dreams you described... Wow. Poor guy. I can just envision his face as these things happen before him... Poor guy, he needs hugs. And lots of them.
