My Jedi Sentinel is level 39 now and wading through final quests on Balmorra, and I'm pretty sure she's close to reaching the point where at the sight of next Sith she has to fight she'll just throw her hands in the air like "This is it, isn't it? You're seriously going to make me duel every single Lord and Darth the Empire has to offer?" It sure is fun to be the brightest hope of the Jedi Order, but jeez, it really feels like they throw pissed off Siths at you at every possible turn. Also: way to keep track on all your most valuable weapon projects, Republic.

If you liked chapter 1 you'll love chapter 3! No more sith lords try to mess with you. You get the Dark Lord of the Sith himself instead. Or one of his incarnations, at least.

now that you mention it..... as Jedi Consular, I've had to do a heck of a lot of fetch quests..... Oh, there's a missing holo recording? go find it! go find the clues! go find the Noeticons, go find someone's brother, go find this, go get that, go steal this Intel, go investigating this..... (I even used this response upon completing one: "The job that was too difficult for you was completed by me" (or something like that XD) At least the storyline is keeping me invested. (I am still only on Couruscant, after all)

If you think the Jedi Knight's part in Balmorra is ridiculous, you have NOT played Sith Inquisitor. The Empire's just as incompetent(if not more, seeing as they LOSE Balmorra in the long run).

The knight story: They have made a weapon, lost it, you must find it
The consular story: They have lost contact with a jedi, you must check it

I tried going to the Empire side to see if the NPC's there were more competent, they did win the war after all. Surprisingly, the Imperial military is quite ineffective. They always give me quests to do things they should be doing themselves. How did they win the war like that? Seriously! Did all the capable Imperials die in the war!?? Your character seems to be the only one capable of doing anything!

Jeez, Tell me about it. After re-taking the astrogation charts on Coruscant and going over to General Wendin, he said that he was about to mobilize half the republic army to storm the Jedi Temple Ruins in order to take back the same Charts for the republic... I beat up 13 guys while some general planned to send HALF THE ARMY! Are they really that useless to try and beat a small group of 6 Sith and 7 Imperial Troopers that they'd need the majority of our forces to fight against??

The Republic: a government to bring peace and order to galaxy and make planet destroying weapons.
The Empire: a purist faction that hates aliens(even though the first empire had aliens) and barely made any destruction weapons because they keep killing each other.

To be honest, Star Wars timeline is still a bit fuzzy to me, but as far as I understand the game takes place about 300 years after KotOR and about 3000 years before Episode IV...

lol, what's with scientists and creating weapons of total destruction, someone would think that being smart would make them avoid doing that, leaving the work to some too dumb to live scientists who would kill themselves before expanding the radius of the explosion, it's like ben10 all over again... some morons created the anihilargh to destroy whole galaxies... and then someone activated it... good thing the galaxy got remade by a godlike being... then it became useless and broke... and then two inbreed mechanics repaired the darn thing, wouldn't be better to leave it broken or dispose of it instead of keeping it in a secret base?

Given what's going on in the Consular story at the same time, it does kind of make sense that the Knight is the only competent Jedi left to stop all the superweapons

My only major complaint about the Jedi Knight story is that female Knights can't romance Kira. I don't want Doc, I want Kira.

The quintessential rule of building a doomsday device: it should ALWAYS come with a device that can counter it. Seems they also always forget about it or lose it. And, sadly, this is why they turn to heroes because they need to complicate a situation so that you can look better.
Sometimes, I wish they didn't forget about creating an emergency lost-or-found solution.
