Overall
Vision
Originality
Technique
Impact
The presentation is really well done so impact rates high.
I really like that you used white-line views. Very creative and skilled for making the air intake louvers. Very nice use and moderation of technobabble.
I don't know how original this is, so I took off one for that.
The lack of color and/or tone for the main view lessens the visual appeal. I know and see that you have SOME color there, but I think a lot of detail and "feel" of the craft is lost by going with too dark and/or monotone a tone. I am also saddened that you went with a somewhat polarized canopy.
Some of your sweetest detail work is in the back, which is only seen in white line views. ?!?
So I took "vision" literally, thus lowering it.
I top out at 4 stars leaving 5 for truly exceptional "mind blowing" images. Not a lacking on your part but my own conception to leave a nebulous realm to inspire artists to greater achievement.

This is one of the best critiques I've gotten to date!
Thank you!
I am still working on figuring out how to lay out the images to show off detail. I realize that I probably should have rendered a full color of the back. I do love it, its my favorite part of the whole ship.
I will take what you said into consideration with the next ship! What do you mean by the polarized canopy, though? Did you wish to see inside?

Well, we aim to please ...er... be critical
I'm glad you appreciated it.
That you put such detail into it, expressed to me how much you liked doing that part. Which was why it also seemed like such a crime you didn't show it off to it's best potential... It seemed more like you were saying "LOOK at this front!!! ...oh, and then I did this little fiddly-bit-thing with the back."
Well, I won't say that I want to see what is inside, instead, I will ask, "What is your intention in rendering a model? To make something look more "Estes rocket" model-like or realistic?" Then you TELL me what it SHOULD look like. What is in your mind's eye that you are trying to show? OK?
Sorry, a proper critique shouldn't give you answers...

Ha xD
I am in the process of modeling the interior, but it will likely take as long as the model, hence the canopy being opaque. lol

A very proper response to a critique. Bold, decisive and confident (though honest).
I will await the outcome of the merging of interior with exterior.

My dear, I can't. This is just so gorgeous!
You did a fabulous job and introduced her to dA before I could but so much better than I could have done. I absolutely love her - and the little packs of itty-bitty detail are perfect.
Thank you so much! <333
