Absolutely no one was surprised when Fluttershy and Discord made their relationship official. Between their clear friendship, Discord's desire to protect her, weekly tea dates, Fluttershy fully supporting his silly chaos ways, and the fact that according to Angel Bunny said that "Fluttershy wants to marry Discord", it was clear the two felt a strong pull to each other and did very little to fight it. Nothing really changed about the way they acted around one another, even when they started dating. They were already best friends and were completely comfortable around each other, so there was a minimum amount of new relationship awkwardness. When Fluttershy and Discord decided to move in together, she made a point that she had no problem staying in the Chaos Dimension. So they both agreed on a plan they thought worked well: the two would spend the weekdays staying at Fluttershy's cottage, so she didn't have to travel as much for work, and spend the weekends and non-work days at Discord's home to enjoy chaotic shenanigans.

The two of them got married before any of their other friends, having a pleasant outdoor ceremony in Fluttershy's Animal Sanctuary. There were more animal guests than ponies, but it seemed very fitting. Discord was even encouraged to add a bit of chaotic fun to the end of the ceremony and reception, as long as no animals were effected or guests sent running. And he was sure to add things he thought Fluttershy would appreciate, like flower bouquets that turned into butterflies and bubbles that showered down sparkles when popped. Everyone seemed to enjoy the wedding, even when the dance floor turned into slippery soap bubbles or the cake pieces ran away from the guests for an impromptu scavenger hunt.

There wasn't a lot of knowledge on draconequii offspring or pregnancy, so it came as a complete surprise to Fluttershy when instead of carrying a child of her own, it was Discord who hacked up an egg like a hairball. The two incubated the egg carefully, with Discord's parental instincts being their strongest ally. And in his silly way of handling things, it wasn't uncommon for Flutters to catch Discord drawing a smiley face on the egg or carrying it around in a makeshift baby bjorn. When it hatched, Hullabaloo entered the world with a sneeze that teleported them into the second floor of the cottage, which send Fluttershy into a panic and Discord into an elated frenzy where he flipped the entire house upside down. The two agreed that one child was enough for them, especially when you have one very randomly powerful magically-infused baby.
