Description
Here's my latest original design scratchbuilt/kitbashed model- a monster 40 inch spaceship. Thousands of hand-cut small rectangles make up most of the hull detail, with spare model parts from kits making up other detail. This shot is from the front right side, slightly elevated.
Here's all the shots of this model:

Very impressive. That thing is HUGE. I can appreciate all the work that has gone into it. I really like the curve form. Really awesome work!

Great stuff mate, you should have hung it on thin wire over a black background with some neat lighting, then done a bit of photo-shop magic to remove the wires, perhaps even stick some planets and stars in the background, that would look really cool.

Man, these things are so cool. I haven't kitbashed anything since my Borg Halloween costume in high school, but you're reminding me just how fun it was. VCR motor + toy helicopter launcher + battery + RC car controller toggle + 3 Star Wars models + about eight dozen screws and some wire + cereal box + styrofoam computer-shipping insert + plastic building block + McDonald's McFlurry spinny-spoon + balsa airplane + black spray paint = awesome. The toggle was built inside the cybernetic arm such that I could point it at people and the McFlurry spoon on the end would magically spin with an impressive whirring noise. Resistance is futile! You will be aspoonilated!
Ah, good times. Anyway, is the top fuselage bit cardboard, or do you use some sort of thin plastic?

Hey-
That's cool about your costume!
The fuselage is balsa wood and the panels on it are thin sheet styrene.
