Description
This is my original design scratchbuilt/kitbashed 24 inch dropship model I created from sheet plastic, ping-pong balls, scrap parts for detail, a clock cover, etc.This model is built in 2 pieces that can separate. This shot is of the command module, 3/4 view from above.
Note that this isn't a kit I bought in the store and put together-I made this. If you'd like to read about the technique on how to scratchbuild/kitbash, I wrote a tutorial (part 1) that can be found here:

Wow. The fact that you built this from scratch is amazing! I've never put together any models, not even the packaged type with the detailed little instruction sheets. The closest I've come is erector sets. ^^ Doing something with instructions is tough enough; it requires a lot of patience and effort. But making it all up? That's impressive! Wow! I wouldn't even know where to begin that sort of project.
It's great that you have the talent and the skill to build something like that!

Hey it's me again. I'm getting this urge to comment on all your ship models even though I have nothing to say, hope you aren't getting a little exasperated. They are just so cool. They're the type of thing that if they were behind a window in a shop I'd be staring at it for ages and vowing to build a collection of one day if I ever had the money.
