this is beautiful. i love the beautiful technique you have with shading. and the blanket looks awesome. it looks tangible, as if i could just grab it and cover up. i like how the technique used on the woman is different from her surroundings... makes her pop out of the picture a bit. very nice.

Thanks again, Leslie-You should be charging for your incredible comments, LOL! And you're right, I do tend to mix techniques in my drawings sometime to emphasize planes, and furthermore, my paintings look totally different from my drawings (I don't use my hatch technique with paintings).

I love the elbow...
I know that's an odd thing to comment on, but that's what jumped out at me right away. Getting the bone structure right is tricky for me.

Gorgeous tones and highlights. It's nice that there's the figure in context here - theres another subject in the picture. The shape of the arm and breasts are lovely - rounded and it's almost sculptural
