Awesome; now he looks like a Syth Lord from the Old Republic. Β Nothing against his official design: it just looks a little too much like Evil Mecha Samurai or something.

Well, samurai was precisely the point behind the design. The helmet in particular, taking cues from a kabuto.
However, I wouldn't go so far as to tack Mecha on there when his appearance on the surface was a man in a black suit. Any and all of his mechanical parts were hidden either in his body (life support systems) or under the suit (his mechanical limbs).Β

I think if the helmet was more spherical it would look insanely badass while still looking like Vader.

this makes me want Vader in this sort of style cuz the way this redesign looks, is awesome!

Love it. Brush strokes and lines in the torso lend an incredible sense of grace and fluidity. I do think, however, that there's a certain charm to vader being the complete opposite. Rigid, powerful, while physically and emotionally mangled. Fantastic re-imagining though. I know I couldn't do any better.Β
