Looks amazing, people don't realise how hard animals are to draw when you are trying to mix realism with cartoon design. Anyone can copy a picture of Simba from the Lion King on the net for example and I've been able to recreate stuff like that but this is real talent because you are drawing someone's OC and putting it in your own unique style.

On a side note, I love your character designs, so do you think you could give me some advice? In your opinion is Vex base color (I know he's highlighted here, so that's unrelated) too light? My mom commented that on his character sheet he looks dark gray instead of black and now I'm all paranoid. Do you think I should darken him up or leave him as is? Does he look black and white to you, or is he too washed-out and not husky-fied enough?

he looks dark gray on the ref because the picture is flat.. if you’d shade him, he'd rather look black than gray
but if you're not completely sure about keeping or changing his color, you could try different shades of black/gray (maybe with a touch of blue or something) and compare these c:

Yeah, I've been playing around with darker shades of black, and on my bright computer screen it looks fine. But on my phone and my mom's tablet, the new colors look really dark and obnoxious. Finally decided on the shade of black I wanted to use for Vex fav.me/d6vj46o kind of a happy medium, not too dark and not too light. Just wanted to stop by and say thanks for your advice, I really appreciated it
