Honestly I couldn't pick any of the two... I like them both and equally, but I didn't want to upload them both... well... at least not separately Do not consider this as a diptych, but as a series of photos...

light is ideal, i choose right photo because thanks to lamp and main object (inversive curves) its ok fish lens `effect`for me - it is purpose here (or at least it looks like

LOL! It's not a program! It's the lens that makes things curved. I use a Sigma 10mm Fish eye lens!

That's how you get the results! Go there, plan, go back as planed, plan again... and so on until you get the result you were looking for And that gets even harder when your plans include clouds or clear sky... than you also have to find out about the weather to be able to go back as planed... and then wait till mother nature does what you are waiting for... quite a commitment, but worth it

Yup I agree to the first one, lamp gives some more unique look, but i like them both and what I like more is your composition, the cathedral just pops from the shadows.

Hey dude, if I had to choose, I personally like the one on the right with the lamp post, composition-wise. But as you say the whole shot works as a series of photos. I'm going to try that in future.
