Absolutely amazing how you can put so much detail and imagination into this. Architecture is one section of art I'd love to improve on!

Thank you! But to be honest, it wasn't as much architecture as just refining random shapes. x)

I still think it's amazing! And you're welcome

Beautiful! Even with all the small strokes and details, your painting style still manages to look effortless and so well put-together. I tend to draw very tightly (such a hard habit to break!) so I'm fascinated by how well you can render objects with just a few loose brush strokes...
so jealous. :]

Awmahgawd thank you! I know what you mean, I've been there. You have to put a lot of faith in yourself in order to draw loose. You gotta focus on the main shapes first, be as messy as possible. Only draw little finicky unnecessary details when you're confident with all the shapes. I'm no mentor, these are all the tips I can give. ;w;
And I am jealous of your crafting-skills :]

Thanks for the tips! I've been trying to force myself to draw without zooming in, that's helped a bit. I have a decent background in graphite (for realism) and digital illustration (children's books), but I'm really hoping to combine the two and up my landscape concept art skills this year.
You're definitely getting a follow from me, your stuff is very inspiring! :]

Thanks for the follow and your kind words!
Being zoomed out is great! The key to landscapes is to get good thumbnails. Because if it looks good when zoomed out, it usually looks good when zoomed in!
Not sure if this helps you, but maybe try out drawing in grayscale. Usually helps me to get the main shapes and composition going. :>

It looks amazing... It's so faded yet so gorgeus, I love your technic.

Thank you! The trick is to use the sharpen and noise filter a lot.
